Wireless Communication Library
The Wireless Communication Library (WCL) is the complete solution for software developers who want to add
support for Bluetooth,
IrDA,
WiFi,
WiiMote, and Serial Ports communication into their applications.
Wireless Communication Library SDK is not an end-user application but the powerful SDK for software developers.
The WCL API includes a complete components set for using it with Borland Delphi, Borland Developer Studio,
Borland CBuilder, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft Visual C++ and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.
Wireless Communication Library is 100% compatable with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Wii Remote Support
The Wireless Communication Library also provides
WiiMote (Wii Remote) support.
The WCL supports all the Wii Remote extentions and WiiMote Infra Red Sensors. The Library and its Bluetooth SDK provides easy connection method to a Wii Remote
controller which does not require any additional configuration. However, you may use "old" method with using HID device connection (as it is implemented in others
Wiimote SDKs). Read more...
Bluetooth Proximity Marketing Support
The SDK has been specially designed for rapid development of Bluetooth Proximity Marketing applications such as TextBlue Proximity Sender, the Bluetooth Proximity Marketing application which is based on the Wireless Communication Library Bluetooth SDK wclProximitySender class.
The TextBlue Proximity Sender has been designed to be extremely easy to use and even includes a built in
Business card and Digital Flyer creator.
The software, based on the Wireless Communication Library, allows the user to turn their PC or Laptop into a very powerful Bluetooth Proximity Advertising System
which will automatically send Bluetooth messages directly to all Bluetooth enabled mobile phones in the area.
The Bluetooth Proximity Marketing Software, powered by the Wireless Communication Library, can send any type of file that is compatible with cell phones including Digital Business Cards, Calendar Reminders, Mobile Movies, Pictures, Animated Images, Mobile Music, Java Games, Bar Codes and more.
The Library saves your development time and makes your wireless development as easy as you cann't imaging. You do not need to think about different Bluetooth APIs and drivers. Just use few components and classes and your application is ready.
Supported Transports
Wireless Communication Library includes
full components and classes set (Bluetooth Framework) that allows you to enumerate and to manage local Bluetooth radios,
to Inquire remote Bluetooth enabled devices, to Discover its services, to Transfer files and lots of
other things. The Bluetooth SDK, available in the Library, includes special designed powerfull components to rapid development of
Bluetooth Proximity Marketing applications.
The WCL provides easy in use methods and classes to
work with IrDA enabled devices. The IrDA API provided by the Library allows to your application to Inquire remote IrDA devices,
to connect to remote IrDA enabled devices, to Transfer files to remote IrDA enabled devices and lots of other features.
The SDK makes it easy to use WiFi features in your applications.
With WiFi Framework of the Wireless Communication Library you can enumerate availbale WiFi networks, connect to selected network,
create WiFi network and other things.
The Library also supports serial port communication (physical and virtual).
It allows your application to communicate with serial devices the same way as it works with Bluetooth and IrDA device. Just change transport to serial and all your communication code will work.
WCL can create virtual COM port for Bluetooth enabled device and you may use this new created vCOM with your legacy code which uses serial ports for Bluetooth communication.
Supported Platforms
The WCL .NET Edition
includes Buetooth Framework for .NET, IrDA Framework for .NET, WiFi Framework for .NET and
